Good greetings!... :) Been kind of busy these past few wks... there were a couple of rest time though... but many times i will be like a busy bee... Scurrying round and round in the different parts of Singapore... haha.. sounds happening huh...heehee... rather thankful actually... well.. many things happened these past few week...lots of time i was telling myself..." when i blog... i must remember to blog this event...when i blog i shall write this & that... " many of such thots actually came across to me as i was travelling on the bus... etc... but here i am now.. trying to squeeze out my brain juice of wat i actually wanted to write then... haha...thats the prob... our human minds are preoccupied with too many things.. so much so that there are many things we wanna do/certain thots come across our mind ...but often we are constantly distracted by the on-coming events and busyness and they are brushed aside.. hidden in one corner of our minds already.... haha... but nevertheless.. will still touch on some things that i still remember...yup.. here i go... :)

1st Wedding of the Year
well... this was supposed to my 2nd.. if only i didnt miss liansi's one... but well it was kind of new.. as this is the first time that i was asked not only to be the receptionist on the actual day.. but to be part of the sisters team too... *grin*.... for a fun loving person like me... how could i missed it!!... hahaha...however... i later then realise that i was given a tough and expensive mission - to find a champagne gown.. sigh...i didnt even wear a gown for prom night lor... now ask me go and find a gown... and still needed it to be in champagne colour... was really kind of tough for me ( and also heartache cos need to spend alot of money.. lol) ... but thankfully... after dunno how many rounds of shopping... finally found something kind of similar...and expensive as expected.. sigh... weddings are nv cheap...

Well.. things on the actual day were kind of messy... i seriously think that the weddings planners are not doing their job well... ahhaha... not with the kind of money the couples are paying them... i think if this was a YFC event... after this surely get long hours of supervision... lol.... hahaha... but well seriously find it not properly coordinated... a not updated guest list with half of the guests' names missing.... sisters team dun even know the hotel room no. at the last hour.... and we have to even call to find out...Caterers dunno what were the cakes for...and many many other hip cupps along the way...but thank God that Pastor Chris was not blur and preach the wrong sermon (which is one of the most impt)... haha.. at least i was thankful that the gospel was shared even through a wedding.. as a man and woman unite as a couple by the grace of God... and witnessed by a crowd with blessings... a memorable day indeed... :)

Conversations With the Jehovah Witnesses
I was just telling someone ( forgot who) that i've been hearing others having encounters with some cult groups... was rather surprised that i haven met one yet (not that i was eagerly waiting for one).. since singapore is so small... but here i was meeting them on 2 consecutive sun afternoons... They were pretty friendly... typical according to what i have heard... but what struck me most was the fact that even the cult groups are putting so much effort to share their "so called doctrines"... (which are all twisted and untrue) ,taking the effort to do " preach" even on sun....shldn't we christians (who are holding on the real truth... which concerns life and death...which puts man with a real hope for living) be found more thinking about these truths and sharing them to others... afterall... its only through faith in Christ that one is saved.... that one find the meaning in life... hmmm... yup... thats was some thots... apart from the shock of discovering wat jehovah witnesses believe.. i was thinking i shld be found more prayerful and "kingdom minded".... to be thinking and praying for people that God have put in my life... hoping that one day... they may also find the real truth in their life...

Finally...it finally reality that i am starting starting school....heehee.. going to my desired course - Chinese Studies...*smiles*... after a long journey... its finally where i am settling... really glad and excited about school (which many of my friend wondered y).. and really thankful as well... there was a period of time that i almost give up on my dream of pursuing chinese... but was really thankful that He opened the door for this opportunity to come....May i constantly be a light in wherever he places me...for His glory and glory alone...

Beginning of school marks another walk in life... many new people to meet and interact... many different challenges to face... ( and the most worried one is time management)... and many stress in line to come... but i truly pray for a heart of many thankgiving... and a mind of focus... a mouth of love.... that i will be blessing to someone whom i meet in school... and that i will learn to be contented and joyful in the midst of difficult.. looking to Him as my daily Comforter and strengh....

Been having the opportunity in meeting different gp of pple... my thai friend came to Singapore!.... after 4 years of seperation... i am glad she is growing in the Lord... we even bring her to see see walk walk... went to see merlion... went up the swiss hotel to see the Singapore's night view at 71th level.... celebrating birthdays with some these few weeks... its been a great time of catching up... having fun... (haha...nv have a picnic in my whole life... let alone a pot luck one..!) and i hope for such times to come again... hopefully soon.. keke...!Till then...take cares, my friends ~~!!
